The benefits of meditation are well known and talked about, but how does it work on your brain? For thousands of years Buddhist monks have known about the “Monkey Mind”, but until recently science is being able to study it. In this video we talked with Losang Gendun, a Buddhist monk; and Roel Wilbers, author of ‘Meditation: your daily mini holiday’. We explain the science behind the Monkey Mind, and how meditation actually works on your brain.
